If you want to #PerfectYourPitch, you need to define your target market! It might be tempting to think, “Anyone and everyone can use my product!” However, identifying a niche of people who will become your product advocates will help you reach a broader audience rather than trying to appeal to everyone at once.
Once you’ve identified your target market, be prepared to describe it in terms that people can relate to. Don’t just use demographic information in your pitch, but identify consumer behaviors of your target market.
